With the social development, include the technological advances,more and more computers spread to people’s daily life.People can use the computer network to do a lot of things, such as online communication, online shopping, in other words, computers greatly facilitate the daily lives of people. With the development of computer technology, more and more companies have also begun to use the network for internal affairs management. Among these personnel management is a very important part. The manual personnel management is very complicated, and computer technology can process it, not only ensure the accuracy of the results, but also greatly reduce the personnel staff. This is what we would like to introduce, web-based personnel management system.This personnel management system has many advantages not only to the traditional manual personnel management but also to the web-based systems before. The system has a unified management of employees’ basic information, attendance information, training information, salary information, and make payroll information linked with other information, which make its’source more reasonable. Also need to note is that the system is no longer just for the personnel staff, general staff and other roles can use it too. It can be said that the system is the optimization and rich of the online personnel management system before.This paper mainly analyzes about the difference between the web-personnel management system and the traditional personnel management, the inadequate of the personnel management system functions before, and introduces the work what the system can complete, and we also explain the main flow of the system’s analysis and design. In addition, the paper also introduces on the use of technology and ideas briefly. Throughout the implementation process of the system, we use the object-oriented thinking from start to finish. First of all, paper analysis the system needs, to ensure that the system should meet the demand. Second, paper use UML methods make some models. Then according these we use ExtJS design the original interface model, further use of Java coding, testing, and system maintenance, and ultimately complete the system. In addition to object-oriented thinking, the site’s design is in accordance with the habits of the people’s day-to-day operations, which make the system easy for users to use.
