Automation technology and intelligent control has been adopted widely in the process of modern industrial control. Some fields haven’t achieved automation totally in the process. For example, locomotive has been used for feeding coal and discharging to several furnaces. Magnetic sensing detection technique can overcome the effect of heavy dust. Designing and implementing the location system of truck body displacement is very valuable.The paper is based on the Hall effect, written to design a location system of truck body displacement which adopts the magnetic signal detection by the use of magnetic sensor and microcontroller technology.We translate displacement and magnetic field strength to voltage or electric current signal-output by Hall sensor and RFID system, and then, according to the displacement we judge the position of truck body and send out the control signal. The magnetic displacement sensor system can be divided into five modules:the module of magnetic field signal production and magnetic sensor detection; the module of signal conditioning and ADC; the hardware platform of system (MPU module); the module of RFID; microprocessor output controlling module. At first, the module of magnetic field signal production and magnetic sensor detection finishes the simulation of the magnetic induction intensity, and the design of magnetic sensor detecting magnetic field module. Signal conditioning and analog digital conversion module is responsible for the output signal of the magnetic sensor is filtered, amplified and analog digital conversion, to reduce the influence of noise on the system. The hardware platform of system is based on the experimental development board of51series MPU, it handles the output results of ADC and sends out the controlling signal properly, during the early stage of the experiment, development board’s peripheral devices is used to finish the debug function. The RFID module is responsible for identification and judgement function. The function of the microprocessor output controlling module is to change the output data of microprocessor into standard current signal which is applied in industry so as to realize the automatic controlling.In the software design, it adopts the software development system Keil, which is compatible MCU C language and made by the company of Keil Software of USA. It realizes the processing of sampled data, communicating with RFID module and outputting controlling through programming the MPU in C language. The test results show that the system has basically reached the expected goal after system experiment and test. The system positioning error is less than5cm. It can against severe dust. The function of automatic inspection and discharge records is reliable.
