Design And Implementation About ARP Attack System Based On Campus Network

At present, the network attack called one of the five largest global threats by the WorldEconomic Forum. With the development of the network, the network security problems arebecoming increasingly attracted attention, use network vulnerabilities to attack’s behavior andtools keep on increasing, rapid and diversified development. In recent years, the campusnetwork appears all kinds of problems by constantly attacked. We need to understand theprocess of network attacks, and take effective measures to protect the security of campusnetwork.First of all, this thesis introduces the status of network security in the campus networkand the problems of network protocol vulnerabilities. Secondly, introduces the mostcommonly used way in the campus network is the network monitor by the ARP protocol, themajor problem to affecting the security of campus network is ARP attack. This thesis analyzesthe ARP principle, and introduces the way of the ARP attack. At the same time, around thedeficiencies inherent of ARP protocol, this thesis will be introduced the design andimplementation system about ARP attack based on Libpcap’s process. Including scanning theLAN host to the LAN continue to send information to deceive, gateways and other hostsforward packets between the means, respectively, to achieve three kinds of ARP attacks of thegateway deception, the middleman attack and the IP address conflict. The whole process ofARP attack with a visual interface, it is not only simple but also at a glance. Then, introducedthe design scheme in the LAN test results by the test results can show that the design of theattack to achieve the desired effect. Finally, From the Implementation process of the system,introduces some measures to defense ARP attacks in the campus network.This thesis introduces the ARP protocol security vulnerabilities and designs the ARPattack system, the purpose is to arouse the people’s attention to the defects of ARP protocol,and to strengthen further the defense consciousness to the campus network security, and tofind out the better method to defend the ARP attack.
