As a kind of special sewing machine, heavy duty sewing machine mainly used for sewing the large thickness and hardness sewing materials, such as leather jeans and so on. However, the research of heavy duty sewing machine controller probably began at the end of the twentieth Century. Now, have the technology of heavy duty sewing controller is a few developed European and American countries and Japan. According to the external environment of China’s expanding domestic demand, the mainland of China’s demand of heavy duty sewing is further increased, a new wave of sewing machinery equipment replacement coming. The controller is a core component of the heavy duty sewing, the research significance.This paper analyses and studies the system of heavy duty sewing machine composition, the control requirements the control measurement and the design of hardware and software. In order to meet the demand of the system precision, choose the sensor less brushless DC motor as the spindle motor, and adopts the current loop and speed loop double closed loop control system and PWM pulse width modulation technology. In addition, this paper analysis from hardware and software two aspects, and detailed explanation the modules of system.In the design of hardware, in order to make motor commutation accurate, design the back-EMF zero-crossing detection circuit, choose CPLD as the high speed commutation change device; in the structure of control system, choose the ARM+CPLD as the control system, this structure of control system design simply, price lowly, performance reliable; choose STM32as the main control chip, this micro-controller with Cortex-M3core, select cost-effective LC4032V as logic commutation chip; In addition, the paper also detailed explanation the modules of hardware.In the design of software, according to the control of heavy duty sewing machine requirements, design the main program of system,"three type" starting subroutine, speed calculation subroutine, commutation change subroutine, speed regulation subroutine, braking and positioning control parameter modification subroutine and communication subroutine, and take the average value used to filtering parameters.After a long run test, the designed controller can meet performance indexes of the control system of heavy duty sewing machine, and has been well used in industry.35Figures,8amplitudes,60references。...
