With the rapid development of information technology, science and barcode madein the field of information technology in a wide range of applications, domestic use isbasically a one-dimensional bar code barcode, the information density is low, but theinformation capacity is small. With the current technology and the rapid development ofmobile intelligent terminal, two-dimensional bar code applications more widely, it havethe characteristics of high density of information, big capacity of information, strongresistance to disturbance, strong error-correcting ability and so on. Now there is notwo-dimension bar-code identifying program being created on mobile equipment, so theidentification of two-dimension bar-code is now a hot research field and applicationfield.The main content of this dissertation is the design and implementation of thesubsystem of decoding one type of the two-dimension bar-code–Quick Response Code.After learning about the Standard GB/T18284-2000<<Quick Response Code>> and thedecoding algorithms and the image processing technologies of decoding, includingmedian filter, threshold division, image rotation, border detection and the technology oferror correction, the QRCode decode subsystem was designed and implemented. Themain functionality of it is preprocess the image, including image reading and medianfilter, and the location of QRCode symbol position detection graph and error correction.The major algorithms and workload are focused on the three parts of median filter,location and error correction.The entire system development environment is Windows, run the platform isWindows and Symbian OS, development tool is Visual C++. By QRCode analysis anddesign, the use of Symbian system Camera provides an API to invoke camera QRCode,after pre-processing module of the system image, graphic positioning module and errorcorrection code decoding module interface. The whole system is tested using thestandard graphics generated by standard QR generator and dirty QRCode images on theVisual C++platform and it passed the test. The ability of decoding and performance isproved to be effective.
