Fingerprint identification technology is based on the development of moderncomputer technology and digital image processing technology. Compare with thetraditional identity identification technology such as passwords, credentials, etc, thefingerprint identification technology even better. The advantage of fingerprintidentification technology is each person’s fingerprint is different. Increase with age orhealthy changes, the fingerprints will not change. Also fingerprint is very difficult toreplicate and misappropriation. More importantly, it’s easier to get a fingerprint imagethan other identification technology. So that we can more easily develop fingerprintidentification system, so it has high practicability and feasibility. Fingerprintidentification system has been widely used in a variety of applications, such as accesscontrol systems, attendance systems, computers, cell phones, etc. With more and moreperfect fingerprint identification technology, it will appear in more fields. The design consists of DSP fingerprint identification module, microcontroller,LCD display, matrix keyboard, clock circuits, power supply, buzzer, electric locks andother accessories. This design is the use of fingerprint identification module to completethe entry and comparison of fingerprint, and the results are sent to the microcontrollerthrough the serial port, and the microcontroller control electric locks to implementfingerprint security door switch action, and according to the system requirementscontrol other peripherals work. This design of fingerprint security door control system issafe, reliable, easy to operate, low cost, and can be widely used in public places andprivate residences.
