Real-time backup platform as a set of data security system level platform, realizedthe ability to detect a variety of storage server failure and effective isolation from faultdisk, ensured the security of user data and safeguard the normal operation of applicationlayer software. This platform client is installed on the user’s service machine, observeand control the client state on the server side. The design principle of the system istransparent to the user’s application based on file storage driver. It adopts IRP drivereplication technology, duplicate copies of user’s read and write requests into multipleindependent memory banks, realizing real-time backup of the master and backupstorage data, automatic switch encountering storage fault and data synchronization afterfault recovery.This system is specifically for mainstream storage architecture such as SAN, NAS,and FC SAN+LAN and compatible with mainstream storage management software.Strong demand for safety and reliability of reading and writing data in application ofSANERGY, STORNEXT innovative research and development of storage securitysystem. Intuitively, it is equivalent of adding a layer of protective clothing comparingwith direct data access in the past. Traditional network data security design commonlyuse data backup software and set time to backup data regularly; Too long time intervalsystem may fail in the middle of the interval point, loss of data and no recovery; Tooshort time interval, will greatly poor system performance.Take full account of the user demand for data security, efficiency, versatility,Creatively put forward data security scheme. The system is generic software productsresided in the file driver layer, Can be applied to any third-party applications or clientform.Any application software with data backup needs, can install this system withoutmodification of programs and get real-time, uninterrupted, reliable data backup service.Data write requests on client, the system captured write requests and synchronize thedata to multiple independent storages. Exactly same data stored in multiple independentdisk array and realized RAID storage. Even the main storage is damaged, The writing in progress will not be interrupted, but continuely write to backup storages. When mainstorage fault cleared, the real-time backup platform will automatically synchronize thedata stored in backup storages to main storage and ensure data consistency betweenmain storage and backup storage.
