The cognitive radio (CR) technology access the spectrum to proceed the communicationwith the technology of “opportunity access”. So, the CR technology has very high use ratioof the wireless communication spectrum, and it has very high value of use and very wellprospect in commerce. The “Spectrum sensing technology” and the “Spectrum allocationtechnology” are the primary technologies of cognitive radio technology. High and reliablespectrum sensing technology is the premise of the normal working of CR. This paper detailedstudy the cooperative spectrum sensing in the cognitive radio spectrum sensing technology.First, this paper introduces the general situation of cognitive radio and the currentsituation of the research of spectrum sensing in cognitive radio. And make the comparativeanalysis of the several common kinds of local spectrum sensing of the single second user.According to the limitations of the reliability of the local spectrum sensing ways of the singlesecond user. This paper detailed research the hard-decision information combination and thesoft-decision information combination of cooperative spectrum sensing in the cognitive radiotechnology. On the basis of these, this paper importantly introduce the cluster-basedcooperative spectrum detection algorithm for cognitive radio, and proposes the relevantimprovement. And this paper proposes a weighted cluster-based cooperative spectrumdetection algorithm for cognitive radio. This paper proposes a local SU energy detectionthreshold self-adaption cooperative spectrum detection scheme. In allusion to the differencesof the average detection performance of the clusters in the cognitive radio network, this thesisallocates different weighting factors for the different clusters. The second users adjust theirenergy detection thresholds according to the weighting factor of the cluster which they are in.Compared to the traditional hard-decision information combination cooperative spectrumdetection algorithm based on clusters, on the same burden demand for the control channel, thealgorithm this paper proposed has obvious advantage in detection performance. After that, thisthesis detailed describes the cooperative spectrum detection scheme that weighting thedetection information of clusters based on credibility, and compared to the traditionalcooperative spectrum detection scheme based on clusters, and the traditional soft-decisioninformation combination of cooperative spectrum detection algorithm based on clusters with simulation and makes the analysis for them. Not only analyses the advantage of the algorithmthis thesis proposed from the aspect of reducing the global missing detection probability, butalso analyses the advantage of the algorithm this thesis proposed from the aspect of reducingthe demand of the burden of control channel (which transmits the detection information). Andthe algorithm this paper proposed improves the detection performance of cognitive radionetwork obviously.
