In3G communication, higher speed of the mobile station is requested, which means thedynamic range of channel parameters is large. Thus, coherent reception is rather difficult, andthe channel estimation is the key technology. The design of algorithm with high efficiencyand low complexity is the foundation of channel equalization technology, joint detection andsmart antenna. And it can also greatly improve the system performance.There are two channel estimation methods about channel estimation technology. Themainly one is an algorithm base on training sequence or pilot, it can provide rapid acquisitionas well as accurate tracing. The main criteria used interpolation methods are ML, LS, MMSE.But the transmission efficiency of channel is lower, it takes up some place of time slots orbandwidths. And also it always has large computation and lots of errors, never considers thedifferent user, such as people on foot or people on the train. In a word, about channelestimation, there have been a lot of excellent methods existed. Each of them has advantagesand drawbacks. In this paper, a new channel estimation method is proposed. It is based on theprobability of channel gain difference and has a high speed virtue. The research will bring atremendous contribution for the design of wireless mobile communication system.The main body contains three parallel parts, which subsequently explore the mobilechannel characteristics with simulation, proposed a method based on the probability of gaindifference by the feature analysis of mobile wireless fading channel, the application of thechannel estimation method in high-speed mobile communication system. And take advantageof these characteristics for enhancing estimation performance, reducing pilot overhead andlowering systems complexity, respectively.Supporting high mobility will be an important character of the future wirelesscommunication systems. With the continuous development of communication technology, therequirements of communications systems efficiency will become increasingly. As the keytechnology of next generation communication, to be trusted, the channel estimation methodbased on the probability of channel gain difference will play a pivotal role in the developmentof future communications.
