With the emergence of the Internet of things technology and the rapid expansion in recent years, embedded technology has been widespread concern and development. Intelligent, energy saving, high efficiency became the theme of the current era of technological development. Embedded systems with low power consumption, small size, and low cost, which is characterized very much in line with the current trend of scientific and technological development.The emergence of embedded technology, the microcontroller is being replaced by the embedded technology. Embedded technology with a powerful processor capable of handling the speed and stability, that can not be achieved by the microcontroller, and it is equipped with the operating system, real-time feedback, and multitasking. In order to adapt to the development needs of the Internet of Things technology, to construct an intelligent security monitoring systems based on embedded processors and with the operating system is an urgent problem.This article designed a versatile security monitoring platform system based on ARM9and Linux systems, current mainstream security monitoring system using micro-controller to achieve, stability has failed to meet the needs of nowadays, can not meet the Internet of Things technology development needs. In this article, through build development platform, transplant several major parts, components, test. Combined with hardware and software designed and developed a multi-function security monitoring platform based on ARM and Linux. Its Main work includes:the choice of the virtual machine, the installation of Fedora system configuration, how to build a virtual machine, the host machine and the onboard communications between these aspects construct a perfect system embedded development platform; And do a lot of cross compilation and transplantation, mainly includes the kernel compilation of transplantation, the bootloader cross-compilation transplant, root file system of the production; And application of transplant, mainly including:the DHCP, motion, ffmpeg, SDL, Boa, ds18b20driver, etc.Mainly realizes the temperature real-time monitoring, as well as realizes unattended alarm monitoring and other functions. Through the basic testing, although the stability and harmony of all aspects are still to be improved, but to conduct intelligent security monitoring and alarm is still a very good attempt, Is expected to be widely used through the improvement and optimization.
