With the goal of full access to the information society to the year of2050in China, the information rate will reach80%and most of the industries will become highly information-oriented industries. Especially in recent years, with the development of service computing, information technology and network technology, various industries accelerate research and development to new products, which bring the application of network services and information services out unprecedented pomp. However, the problem to ensure the reliability of information systems and network services as well as user’s trust in the collaborative scene has become particularly prominent. For example, service resources lack professional, trusted third-party entities to guarantee its authenticity and credibility. Service entities are usually distributed in different autonomous domain and service implementation process is likely to be changed by providers. So service resources are greatly uncontrollable and uncertain and quality of service is often unknown. In order to ensure that the service provided by the information system is credible, current research is mainly focused on the following three aspects, dependability study, security study and the study to result and quality of service. However, most of the reliability studies focus at the component level and they don’t consider impact of human factors on the components. Secondly, most of the security studies implement protection in the case of assuming human factors. Lastly, evaluation of service results implements after producing result, which will decide whether to continue to rely on the services provided by the system. Three aspects of the study are relatively independent of each other and lack of data exchange, which can not ensure that the services provided by the information system is credible. So they can not play their respective advantages in practical applications.Thesis researches the credibility and e-service and makes the following studies on the issues currently existing in electronic services.1) Thesis gets rid of the traditional understanding of the credibility of E-service and proposes a new definition of trusted E-service, credibility=reliability+security+Trust.2) In order to resolve the problem that research of E-service trust runs short of normative and systemic architecture, paper designs a novel Layer-based Model of Trusted e-Service called LMTS from the perspective of the architecture. It discusses the credibility of the e-service from levels of components, systems and services. It also studies the demand of credibility at each level and defines interface between the adjacent layers of the model.3) Considering the user’s service demand, the LMTS implements modular division for the function of trusted E-service system. It lists goals that the system should achieve and performance index of component level, system level and service level which measures whether each level realizes goals.4) LMTS discusses and in-depth studies trust evaluation mechanism based LMTS.5) It devises a kind of secure protocol of service request based LMTS. In addition, the paper implements the protocol in the scenarios of web.
