With the development spurt of data-centric wireless sensor networks, there are moreand more breakthroughs in application areas and key technologies. China is a largeagricultural country and people take food as their basic needs, which contribute to thefundamental position in agriculture and the overwhelming impetus on seeking alternative fortraditional ones. Wireless sensor network is an integrated intelligent information systemwhich include information collection, information transmission, information processing. Theobjective is to send information to observers by collecting collaboration perception andprocessing information of perceptive objects in network covering geographic areas. What’smore, it has the characteristics of data centered, self-organized and fault-tolerant, broadcastcommunications and multiple routing protocols, dynamic topology. These play an importantrole in myriad areas, such as planetary exploration, submarine detection, intelligentmulti-road traffic, airport anti-invasion, the head of state security, as well as precisionfertilizer, etc.The most fundamental purpose of the wireless sensor network technology applicationin agriculture is to increase crop yields on the premise of maximizing the cost savings. Theavailable nutrient in the soil is essential to the process of crops growth. The differences inavailable nutrient in soil make the difference in soil PH value, the two of which link closely.From this point of view, requirements are proposed for the use of fertilizers in thefertilization process and how to easily and effectively know the type and content of neededfertilization for crops is the main problem that needs to be urgently solved for modernagricultural development process.Based on the study of deployment scheme on selecting proper nodes for practicalproblem and location algorithm on nodes, this paper constructs the relevant model for PHvalue and available nutrient of soil. What’s more, the model, incorporated with the accuratefertilizing system, is used in application. A node deployment scheme based on a holycombmesh and DV-HOP node allocating algorithm is selected according to the covering ofmonitor region in Hua County, Anyang. A node deployment scheme based on a holycombmesh can abstract a network covering to a circle covering. Recent materials prove that whenthe point of intersection among sensor node and the adjacent node constructs a regularhexagon, the covering area of the sensor node can attain its maximum. This scheme alsoenable the sensor node in monitor region in its minimum observe every place in the targetarea. DV-HOP node location algorithm is to estimate the minimum hop counts between the nodes need to locate and anchor node. Beacon node transfers data packets contain their owninformation to their adjacent node, stored beacon node information of nodes need to locateand the minimum hop counts of beacon node distance. Finally, according to the distance,multiplying the minimum hop counts is the real distance between located node and beaconnode.Construct the correlation model for soil PH value and available nutrient. In the regionof monitored objective area, take soil samples based on every unit. Take the samples back tothe lab and classify them by the type of soil. Select corresponding chemical methods tomeasure nutrient content according to different nutrient and the PH value. Then, constructregression formula in excel based on the measures of the contents of organic matter, totalnitrogen, available phosphorus, rapidly available potassium and PH value for every soil.Compute the coefficient index and construct the correlation model for PH value andavailable nutrient in different soil.Accurate fertilizing system and apply the module in system. Develop accuratefertilizing system based on WebGIS in help of data technique. Carry out every function ofthe system and make use of the PH value and available nutrient in correlation model. Aslong as the soil type and PH value are obtain, the content of each available nutrient can begained and input in the accurate fertilizing system. Finally, the fertilizing suggestions andscheme will be provided on the screen.
