As an important bio-electrical signals, ECG has long been important physiological, psychological indicators. Their corresponding applications-ECG is well known to people and still widely used in hospitals, clinics and other medical situations. They are used as an important basis for the diagnosis. To classify this kind of sensors from a technical point of view, such medical sensor electrodes can be divided into two categories:wet electrodes and dry electrodes, which in turn can be further divided into contact dry electrode and non-contact dry electrode. Although being used in most of the occasions, typical wet electrode is inconvenience with several drawbacks. The research of dry electrodes is right now a hot topic in the world.In this paper, we will design a biosensor based on non-contact electrode. This system includes non-contact electrode, ultra high input-impedance front-end amplifier, notching circuit, filter circuit, second amplifier, AD converter and so on. Then we would like to focus on some key techniques, make some discussion and comparison. We will give the circuit design and analysis. At the end of this article, we’d like to discuss the status and trend of the bio-electrical research field, finally we will give our opinion and outlook.
