The contact temperature sensor can reach thermal equilibrium though theoptimal contact between the testing part and tested product, thermal convectionand heat conduction. Therefore, the temperature of the object can be tested. Butthis kind of sensor can produce large measurement error when the tested object isrelative small, motive or with small thermal capacity. And it can be hardly usedin the difficult environment. Though non-contact temperature test can solve theseproblems, the result has some disadvantages such as low resolution and precision.Given these questions, a new kind of non-contact temperature sensor with low-cost and good performance is needed to be developed and researched.Therefore,the article proposed a new temperature measuring based on polymer wire (madeby PNIPAAm) infrared temperature sensor array and data fusion. Choose thediamond sensor array to achieve the seamless coverage of measuring temperatureregion and chose the Bayes estimation to reach the accurate temperature meas-urement.The device increases the measuring accuracy and effectiveness of thesystem, reduce the limitations of the single sensor.The mechanical resonator used was a common commercially availablequartz tuning fork modified with a polymer wire (made by PNIPAAm).The roleof the polymer wire is to provide an infrared or temperature sensitive element tothe otherwise relatively temperature insensitive tuning fork. The temperature sen-sor is the high sensitivity and high precision and good stability, low productioncost, and it’s materials is easy to be obtained. Because the deployment way of thediamond sensor array has been designed, it increases the control range of the sen-sor array and realizes the seamless coverage of the sensor temperature measure-ment range. Realize the function of frequency acquisition in the article by UsingFPGA chip to concentrate all functions in the FPGA chip,and programming、 compilating and simulating the whole unit module. Using the eliminating errormethod to get effective data of the temperature measuring on data processing,calculate the fusion data using Bayes estimation. Diamond array is more accurate,sensitive and stable than a single sensor significantly by experiment, the preci-sion of the system temperature is0.2℃and the sensitivity is72.4×10-6/℃.
