In this paper, the appropriate material was selected, the spectrum were measured at different temperature, then the spectrum were analyzed, the relationship between temperature and chromaticity of the thermochromic material was built, it provided a theoretical basis for manufacturing optical fiber temperature sensors with thermochromic material.The main work of this paper included:firstly, the research background and the development of optical fiber temperature sensors were introduced briefly; secondly, introduce the classification of the thermochromic material、the theory of changing color and the develop trends of the thermochromic material; thirdly, Establish the experiment platform, and the spectrum were measured at different temperature, then the spectrum were analyzed, built the model about between the spectrum and the temperature of the material, extract the information of chromaticity, built the model about between the temperature and the chromaticity, and compare with the model about between the spectrum and the temperature; fourthly, optimization the model about between the temperature and the chromaticity of the thermochromic material.
