Abstract/Summary:
Since the rapid development of3D computer graphics technology and the popularity of digitally-controlled precision machining technology,3D object digitalization has become a reality. However, this advantage also makes adversaries combine3D graphics and digitally-controlled manufacturing to produce the same with original products of fake and shoddy products more easily. And it leads to the role of traditional anti-counterfeiting technology greatly reduced. In order to prevent this defect, foreign scholars in recent years have designed an algorithm which is more closely integrated with the object, and more secure with anti-counterfeiting technology. Its main idea is that the surface area of an object is embedded with a small amount of additional and well-designed manufacture error (no effect on the use of the object), which is a signature algorithm interrelated with object. So the adversary can’t make imitations or counterfeit for the signature object. It can detect unknown error in genuine verification process to determine the authenticity of the physical object. However, the traditional genuine verification methods which based on the3D world to verify object have their limitations. The3D surface profile requires two degrees of freedom, more difficult in verification process. Therefore, this paper proposes a new authenticity verification method based on the signature algorithm from a complex3D problem to2D. Its main idea is to express, match, verify for3D object based of Spin Image.In this paper, Spin Image is used through the whole authenticity verification. Firstly, regard the vertex as the oriented point on the grid of3D original signature, and the remaining vertices are mapped to a2D Image, which is relative to the position relationship. Secondly, select three points on the reconstruction signature image randomly and calculate Spin Image. Thirdly, compare each Spin Image with all Spin Images of original signature Image, and then get the initial matching-point matrix. Finally, put the initial matching-point matrix as the input parameter of iterative closest point verification (Iterative Closest Point Verification) ICPV algorithm. The proposed3D object authenticity verification method mainly includes three parts:the expression of3D object based on Spin Image, initial matching and precise verification of the results. The expression of3D object based on Spin Image refers that the reconstruction and original signature image are expressed by Spin Image method. The initial matching of3D object based on Spin Image refers to calculating the value of each Spin Image of reconstruction signature image with all Spin Image of original signature Image, and finally getting the initial matching-point matrix. Precise verification of the results refers to putting the initial matching-point matrix as the input parameter of ICPV algorithm.Finally, the proposed3D authenticity verification method is designed and implemented in the Matlab environment. Through experiment simulation, is obtained the scope of variable parameters for the various parts. When the variable parameters of each part are appropriate, authenticity verification method in this paper can distinguish the authenticity and counterfeit object. It has a good application prospect.
