Along with the rapid development of3G mobile communication, the relatedservice and application have drawn more and more attention, especially the locationtechnology in the field of wireless communication. TD-SCDMA technology for itsspecial characteristics and advantages has high competitiveness in aspects of wirelesslocation method and performance. Therefore, in the fierce competition of relatedfields, TD-SCDMA system develops healthily and rapidly.To meet the need of investigation work for the security departments, it is ofgreat significance to obtain precise location information of mobile phone users indesignated areas, that is to say, to realize mobile location function. This papercombined the advanced technology in modern wireless communication area andapplied communication protocols for TD-SCDMA. A kind of TD-SCDMA handsetslocator was designed which could be used by staff in the security department tolocate criminals accurately.The device was composed of TD-SCDMA downlink software radio receiver andconsole of Android mobile. To meet the real-time requirements of the locator, real-time operating system of Xenomai was chosen after analyzing the defects oftraditional Linux operating system in the real-time performance. Based on theanalysis of hardware and software system architecture of the traditional receiver,CY7C68013A was used as control chip of USB transmission module, applyingCortex-A9hardware platform and third-party RF, software radio receiver wasdesigned on the basis of Xenomai real-time operating system and Cortex-A9hardware platform. Receiver device was controlled by the console mobile to realizesignal receiving, processing and analysis, and realize positioning function of thetarget mobile phone.The designed TD-SCDMA mobile phone Positioning Systemhas advantages of small radiation, fast speed, small volume, low power and easy tocarry. So it has a bright future.
