One of the more and more important challenges that the modern radar faces is how to improve the performance of radar to detect low observable targets. The long-time integration technology is used in the radar target echo signal in order to increase the actual use of signal energy, it’s an effective way to improve the performance of detecting high speed targets in extremely complex environment. So this method is a hotspot of research for domestic and foreign scholars. This paper is based on the high speed target, and specifically studies the long-time integration technology when it’s echo signal walks across the distance door. The radar transmitted signal and echo signal model is listed in the paper. And the traditional radar signal processing technology is discussed. Then according to the theoretical analysis and simulation by MATLAB, it shows the performance of traditional accumulation algorithm for high speed moving target. Afterwards, under two conditions that the target speed is known or unknown, this paper respectively introduces motion compensation algorithm. If the target speed is known, interpolation envelope migration compensation algorithm and frequency domain correction algorithm are useful. If the target speed is unknown, keystone transform algorithm is useful. Four correction methods are discussed to implement the Keystone transform, they are sinc interpolation method, DFT-IFFT algorithm, CZT algorithm and CZT-IFFT algorithm. Theoretical analysis and computer simulations of single target, multi-target are given. Simulations show the SNR conditions when the algorithm is verified effective in detecting high-speed target under the radar parameters. At last, the computational cost of these methods are compared.
