In all the components of the communication system of modulation anddemodulation module,this module is one of the most important signal transformlinks, whether developed or developing modulo modulation demodulation module,willhave a very important practical significance.The minimum frequency shiftkeying (MSK) is a kind of application in the wireless mobile communication in digitalmodulation mode,it takes constant envelope or the envelope fluctuation is small andthe spectrum occupancy rate has two significant advantages attracted wide attention ofminimum power,it accords with the development and study direction ofmodern communication technology, has the research value very strong,and thedecline sidelobe spower out side the mainlobe bandwidth is also more quickly,thusovercoming the general FSK,PSK,QAM modulation method with phase mutation andthe influence of the modulated signal attenuation of the high frequencycomponents faults.It is based on this background, this thesis will study a MSK modem.Design of the system based on FPGA device, the development cycle can shortenthe system, to reduce capital investment, improve its reliability, more important is to-improve the efficiency of system development. This thesis presents a method of designof MSK modem based on FPGA devices. This thesis first introduces the researchcontent and significance, the domestic and foreign research present situation analysis,then elaborated and analyzed based on the design principle and the design method of theMSK modulation system of DSP Builder, the process of modeling is discussed in DSPBuilder system and Simulation of DSP based on Builder analysis, and then discusseshow to apply the DSP Builder MDL files into VHDL files, and timing simulation inQuartusâ…ˇ, and downloaded to the hardware, the MSK demodulator are analyzed,briefly finally make a conclusion for the whole design, and points out the future work.Inaddition, because the FPGA core board is the core part of the system, so this thesis manufacture schematic diagram of modulation of FPGA core board also made adetailed description of.
