Wireless sensor network (WSN) target tracking is one of the important frontiers of WSN application research. WSN target tracking has very important applications in the fields such as defense, medical health, environmental monitoring, biological behavior research, disaster warning and rescue. The key techniques of WSN target tracking include sensor networks, target identification and detection, signal processing algorithms. This paper studies consensus algorithm for WSN distributed target tracking; involve Kalman consensus filter algorithm, information consensus filter algorithm and consensus algorithm for target tracking under quantitative communication. This paper describes the principle and experimental results of these algorithms. The main work of the thesis:1、Summarizes the distributed algorithms for WSN target tracking, analyses the target motion model, WSN target tracking model and the topology modeling of WSN, combining kalman filter and consensus strategy to study Kalman consensus filter algorithm by which the distributed target tracking is achieved. Simulation experiments of this algorithm are performed.2、Proposes information consensus filter algorithm for WSN distributed target tracking in order to overcome the lack of accuracy in Kalman consensus filter algorithm. The comparison between Kalman consensus filter algorithm and information consensus filter algorithm is proposed from both theoretical and experimental perspectives. Based on the information consensus filter algorithm, the consensus weights optimization is proposed for better target tracking performance and is referred to as weights optimized information consensus filter algorithm. Simulation experiments of these algorithms are performed.3、Aiming at the limited bandwidth of WSN, the quantized consensus algorithms are discussed for both directed and undirected WSN, involve logarithmic quantized consensus algorithm, probabilistic quantized consensus algorithm and uniform quantized consensus algorithm. The quantized Kalman consensus algorithm is proposed based on probabilistic quantized consensus algorithm to realize distributed target tracking. Simulation experiments of quantized Kalman consensus algorithm are performed.
