Research And Implementation TaaS Test Management Services

With the development of Cloud computing, software development environment and work pattern have changed which results in corresponding changes of software testing.Recently in software industry, TaaS is considered as a new business service model which transfers traditional testing to Cloud computing environment. It offers services for utility billing-based software testing. This allows end users to obtain different types of testing service using the pay-as-you-test model to achieve cost-sharing and cost-reduction. Meanwhile, coordination, knowledge sharing and test cases reuse can be carried out through the Cloud.Open source PaaS platform Cloud Foundry is applied to migrate testing management activities to Cloud so as to dynamicly deploy and schedule resources. The following areas are addressed in this dissertation:1) Analyze the research status of Cloud testing and traditional software mana-gement method domestic and overseas, figure out defects of software management activites in Cloud.2) Propose a TaaS architecture model, provide a TaaS-based testing management service mode.3) Design and implement TTMS with SSH framework which divides TTMS into four levels:access management level, testing management level, task management level and PaaS level. The TTMS system has user management, testing task management, testing tools management, testing result management, database management, testing asset repository management, issue managemrnt and other fundamental functions.
