The popularity of mobile phone photograph makes users to demand for a better mobilephone picture management, the traditional Android2.2series phone photo managementsoftware, such as the “Gallery”, etc.. Because of the semantic gap between feature-basedautomated indexes computed automatically and human query and retrieval preferences, userscan not manage and access and retrieve photos efficiently.In this paper, the application is based on Android to achieve an efficient photomanagement and retrieval system photo Map. Includes the following three main functions:1) Three dimensions information with place, time and events to narrow the semantic gapintelligently;2) Photo management merges with map to make a better photos organization andmanagement;3) A machine learning mechanism Based on events to classify and retrieve intelligently.Using the Google Maps API core library implements the map function to show photoson the map intuitively. Use the SQLite database to store and manage photos; Call the AndroidCamera API to take pictures, and use GPS to get the locatio n information automatically;Eventually, combine image recognition technology and the label semantic analysistechnology for intelligent photo classification after modeling photo events. Through samplingstatistical machine learning method to establish the event model for intelligent photoretrieval. Use graphics filter algorithm to adjust image pixels to realize photo editing andbeautification.Tests show that the system meets the established functional and non-functional design, itoperates stably, and has no obvious bug. Also, it solves the function shortage problem ofexisting photo management software, and meets the needs of the users for photomanagement.
