Research On Data Mining Application Technology In Group-Buying Website

Network group-buying is a rise business model based on internet in recent years. The group-buying website Groupon established in2008is earliest known. At present, the competition among group-buying websites is very fierce, and we must adapt to the situation and characteristics of current online group-buying, to solve the problems in online group-buying.Along with the gradually increasing group-buying website transaction records, more and more large amount of historical data, and these data are accumulated in the system, and there is no effective utilization. Mining useful information hidden in the data function is still very deficient. Therefore the data mining technology is introduced to the group-buying website management, and it will become the new task group-buying website facing in the development process how to provide better services for businesses, users and managers by using data mining technology to existing data on group-buying site analysis. In view of the above problems and needs, we apply data mining technology to group purchase website, research and develop a set of online data mining function group-buying website system. The main work and achievements are as follows:1. To establish a group-buying website system, realize the basic functions of general group-buying website;2. By adding online association rule mining function, the mining results are automatically applied to recommending system. It can effectively improve the trade website by recommending the most likely to be interested in group-buying items to users;3. Through online clustering analysis, users can be classified into different categories, then the site managers can be more targeted in promotional activities, so as to improve the effect of sales promotion activity;4. The statistics and forecast function are included. The results of statistics and forecast will help managers of the site have a more thorough understanding and give the decision support or helpful information;5. Providing data export function for off-line mining. The function of off-line data mining tool is relatively powerful, thus it is useful providing an interface to export CSV or ARFF format files for Weka or other off-line data mining tools, in favor of more complex and more advanced data mining application.Finally, the conclusion and some prospects of further research are given.
