With the rapid development of network communication, people can access anddisseminate multimedia source (such as image, video, etc.) discretionary following their owninterests and inclinations, which has resulted in the potential increasing possibility of stampedillegal copy and widespread adoption of protected digital production. This paper centers on“Intellectual property rights protection technique of color image”, conducts an in depth andintensive research on the image copyright protection technique and image contentauthentication technique.1. Based on quaternion Fourier transform and least squares support vector machine(LS-SVM), we propose a robust blind color image watermarking in quaternion Fouriertransform domain. We split the original color image into smaller color image pieces, andapplies the fast quaternion Fourier transform to each color image piece. Finally, embed thedigital watermark into original color image by adaptively modulating the real quaternionFourier transform coefficients of color image piece. For watermark decoding, calibrate thecolor image by utilizing LS-SVM correction with pseudo-zernike moments. Simulationresults show that the proposed color image watermarking is not only robust against commonimage processing operations, but also robust against the geometrical distortions.2. A robust digital watermarking algorithm based on color image local invariant regionsis proposed. The algorithm is mainly using SIFT based on the color invariants of color imageand probability density to extract the stable feature of color image, combined with thecharacteristic scalable theory to determine the elliptic feature regions of the color image andmap to circular feature regions. Then calculate each circular feature area’s quaternionexponent moments, and select a part of stable quaternion exponent moment magnitudes toembed watermark. The fact which is, the proposed color image watermarking is not onlyimperceptible, but also robust against the conventional signal processing and geometricattacks, is validated in the simulation.3. A color image region rotation tampering localization and image inpainting algorithmis proposed. This algorithm firstly detects copy-rotate-move forgery based on quaternionexponent moment magnitudes’ rotation invariance and locates tampered region and copiedregion, and based on the image noise pattern to differentiate tampered region and copied region, to determine the copied region. At last, repair the tampered region to obtain therepaired color image based on color image restoration model.
