Application And Research Of Digital Room Service System Based On Cluster Server

With the rapid development of triple play, the television system of hotel room has been aqualitative change from "watching" TV into "using" TV, which now become a standard featureof the new smart TV system. It has brought a new ways and means for hotel to offer digital,intelligent and personalized service. Because of the hotel digital room system has many features,like the terminal is range, multi-function and the concurrent access is high. So the system designmust be high reliability, high efficiency and can be visit for a large number of users. And thesame time, it needs to combine the hotel business demand, develop some applications for thehotel digital room service.The papers contain the following. First, introduce the technology of the triple play, theintelligent terminal set-top boxes, the integrated control, the server cluster, the load balancingand so on. Second, expound the structure of the network server cluster for hotel digital room.Finally, design some applications, such as video on demand, room intelligent control.The research and design of the papers:1) Combined with the structure of Broadcast&TV Network and the business application needs,proposed a design for the hotel digital room system platform based on server cluster. Theplatform has some features, like highly efficient and stable, easy to expand, simple tomaintain and so on.2) The hotel digital room system based on server cluster combined with the requirements ofhotel digital room, developed business application modules for hotel digital room.3) The application of room control based on digital TV is a effective supplement for IGRS. Theexperimental results show that, the system is efficient and perfect, the expansibility isstrength, provides a new case for IGRS standard application.
