With the development of communication technology, spectrum resources areincreasingly scarce, the current fixed spectrum allocation is far from being able tomeet the needs of the current technology. The usage of some spectrum licensed toprimary users is quite low, which results in the waste of spectrum resources, whilecognitive radio(CR) allows primary users and secondary users to share spectrumresources, thus improving spectrum efficiency. The multi-user diversity can choosethe user with good channel to communicate wtih the base station, thereby improvingthe throughput of the secondary link. The existing scheduling algorithms usually use the brute-force method, onlyscheduling a user, and do not consider the co-channel interference. Although thealgorithm can select the user with the largest system capacity, but with the number ofthe users increases, the amount of calculation becomes larger, and the longeroperational delay makes it can not achieve the desired scheduling effect. In this paper,in addition to the study of scheduling a user with co-channel interference, we alsoproposed a randomized and fast scheduling strategy to reduce the schedulingcomplexity. Scheduling two users at the same time, we select the two users whichmeet the interference threshold of the user primary with the largest system capacity tocommunicate with the base station.Through the results of simulation, we find that the fast scheduling strategy cangreatly reduce the complexity of multi-user scheduling, and obtain a largerthroughput.
