With the development of society and technology, people’s growing demand for wireless communication, the area of the wireless communication is getting smaller and smaller, micro area or smaller area of communication develops rapidly. In order to effectively achieve the tiny area wireless network coverage, the airwaves forecast is very important in the planning and design of modern wireless LAN communication. As Zone is getting smaller and smaller, each micro-cell similarity getting worse, wave prediction method of statistical methods, and empirical data become powerless, we should build an accurate wave prediction mode for a specific minimal region, which is deterministic modeling approach. It is based on the distribution of obstacles, use the theory of geometrical optics and UTD to search out the propagation path from the transmission source to the reception point, then give quantitative calculation for the channel parameters of each propagation path. We can accurately realize wireless communication radio wave prediction model.In this paper, an accurate wave forecast model based on ray tracing is built and describe in details the steps to build the wave prediction model. By the establishment of a three-dimensional digital environment, use geometrical optics theory, the law of reflection and UTD to search propagation path from the emission source to the receiving point, including direct, a reflection, a diffraction, second reflections, one reflection plus one diffraction as well as a diffraction plus one reflection. Then take advantage of the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic fields and receiving antenna model to calculate out each propagation path channel parameters, such as amplitude, phase and propagation delay when reaches the receiving point, achieve wireless communication wave prediction model.At last, a simulation is conducted based on the background of the satellite navigation, save channel parameters data of every points, simulation results indicate that amplitude attenuation characteristics matches Rayleigh distribution, and phase characteristics agree Uniform distribution.
