Because of to the popularity of smart phones, almost everyone has a lot of digitalimages, this brings people convenience also brings inconvenience, the inconvenience isthat the management of so many digital images, which is image retrieval technologiesneed to solve the problem.The main content is designed and implemented a Color Search System based onthe Android smartphone operating system, the main function of the system is tosearch the local phone picture, and return the expected image results. The meaning ofColor Search is that color characteristics of image-based on search，which is one ofimage retrieval technology,,color Statistical histogram of the picture as a pictureeigenvalue,then the eigenvalue as a comparison object to compare the differencesbetween pictures.First of all, a comprehensive needs analysis have been done.Divided into two aspects of the functional requirements and performancerequirements, Functional requirements to do the analysis of the whole systemfunctions and processes, and gives the corresponding functional structure diagram andflowchart. Performance requirements analysis process to do the analysis of the systemperformance requirements. Then start system design based on the needs analysis, Firstinterface and database design, Detailed design and realization of the function of thesystem. The detailed design of the system based on the relationship betweenfunctional modules draw UML class diagram, and the detailed design and descriptionof each function and class diagram. Implementation of part of the system, Firstimplemented system algorithm functions, Then, system interface, Finally, there is therealization of the database,database using SQLite database, which can improve thesystem efficiency. After the system implementation to be tested, Divided intowhite-box testing and black box, Test the algorithm efficiency and accuracy of the search results. Finally, the system test summary have been done depending on the testdata.The system can help us find the pictures you want in the gallery,And searchaccuracy rate reached a relatively high level, there are some practical value.
