Abstract/Summary:
Video has caused people’s high attention since it was born, for its intuition, authenticity,efficiency and so on. However, because of the video file’s large amount of data andreal-time when transmitting, it has become a primary task that pursuit less bandwidth andhigh transmission efficiency without affecting picture quality.We conclude the video compression system based on contour extraction, after theresearch on contour extraction technology and video compression technology; meanwhilewe considered the actual demand and processing ability of video image information. In thispaper we achieve the effective compression methods of video files based on videocompression algorithms, extracting the background image and the target moving objectspictures by using the contour extraction technology based on GVF Snake algorithm andobtaining the parameters of the moving object and drawing the trajectory image accordingthe algorithms of moving object detection. This solution effectively reduces the storage ofvideo file, and in the meanwhile it greatly reduces the bandwidth when transmitting video.This scheme is applicable to video transmission based on fixed camera and low bandwidthenvironment, and provides great theoretical basis to the research of video compression andrecover algorithm based on fixed camera and low bandwidth environment. Overall, aftertesting the system, we achieve a better compression ratio and make the video filecompression effectively.
