Ranging code is an important part of the satellite navigation system,and have a certaininfluence of the signal acquisition, tracking and anti-jamming capability. Study of existingnavigation systems ranging code, analyze their performance, can not only provide support forChina’s Beidou signal design, but also provide theoretical support for getting high-performanceranging code family. Therefore, the study of the ranging code is of great strategic significanceand scientific value.Due to the emergence of new navigation signal system, the original signal acquisitionalgorithm can not meet the needs of users for accurate positioning.So varies signal acquisitionalgorithm for CBOC,AltBOC and BOC(14,2) emerge. Performance analysis, comparisonalgorithm pros and cons of these acquisition algorithms, be able to find not only the bestperformance capture algorithm can also know the strengths and weaknesses of the differentacquisition algorithm, as the theoretical foundation for the future to find a better performancecapture algorithm.This article consists of two parts The first part introduces the basic principles of spreadspectrum communication, the generation of a variety of ranging codes and correlationanalysis,introduces two ranging code performance evaluation criteria:1. Performance evaluationbased on the correlation peak amplitude ranging code;2. Ranging code performance evaluationbased on Welch. A ranging code performance evaluation software based on this two standard isfinished. With this software analyze the performance of existing ranging code (Gold code, theWeil code, Random code and Compass ranging code), and gives the results of the analysis. Thesecond part introduces the basic principles of navigation signal acquisition and three basicacquisition algorithm. Then analyze the performance of the GalileoE1CBOC signal, E5AaltBOC signal and BOC(14,2) signal joint acquisition algorithm. Analysis of the performanceadvantages and disadvantages of the joint acquisition algorithm through the probability density,capture sensitivity and average acquisition time.In E1signal acquisition algorithm analysis, Acombination of space differential coherent joint acquisition algorithm and coherent jointacquisition of the advantages of the algorithm,and make improvement to the existingacquisition algorithm. Based on this improved algorithm,I finished the E1signal acquisitonsoftware. Use this software to capture the actual data, experimental results show that the correctmethod of acquisition.
