During the course of tablet packaging, there will appear some unqualified tabletin tablet plate, such as empty、defect tablets(defects、impurities、fragments、sticky). sowe are concerned how do we deal with these unqualified tablets before coveringaluminium foil, nowadays the commonly used aluminum-plastic blister packagingmachine (eg the series of table aluminum-plastic blister package machine)havedetection and elimination devices (photoelectric detection and pneumatic eliminationdevice). the photoelectric automatic detection device need the high quality light,it canonly detect empties,and defects、impurities、fragments、sticky tablets is not included,Besides,the elimination device can only eliminate whole board that it is unqualified,if so,it bring a huge waste of raw materials.we will developed a online-detection andrealtime–processing System based on digital image processing techniques and plccontrol technology, The results of the experiments show that this system can defecteffectively tablet detection、classify tablet、coordinate orientation，this system caneliminating unqualified tablets of the tablet board and qualified tablets instead ofunqualified tablets based on the test results。This article present improvement program based on the photoelectric detection andpneumatic elimination device of aluminum-plastic blister packing machine,and givestwo solutions to key issues, production tests during the course of tablet packaging.Thisproject comes from the national863plan project: study on coating line inspection.This analysis mainly on the following two areas of content:(1) In the area of tablet defecting detection. in the area of image preprocessing, animproved median filter algorithm was presented to enhance the infrared image for abletpackaging interference characteristics of serious, an improved median filter algorithmcan filtering better than the traditional method of median filter and without causingimage distortion at removing salt and pepper noise, subtraction was presented tosegmented image as there is some overlap between the gray value of the unqualifiedtablets image and the gray value of the qualified tablets image. the way to overcome thelimitations of threshold value segmentation and the oneness of edge detectionsegmentation, and get in Position using digital projecting techniques. concretely:cameras, frame grabbers of pills on a conveyor belt for image acquisition, software system for real-time detection of the pills pills enhancement, image segmentation,feature extraction, and pills finally to deal with statistical analysis to identify andcoordinate positioning defects.(2) In inadequate pills. using plc success control pills adsorption manager ondefects pills for removed and control fill material tube on empty bubble implementationfill grain; in manipulator positioning control aspects, for traditional manipulator speedslow, precision low, and not controlled sexual, disadvantages, this using servo electriccylinder as drive source and using plc of high-speed pulse series on manipulator forlocation control, make control precision reached thousand points a mm, and has is goodof sensitive sexual, according to manipulator of movement process, this take hasoptimization of accelerated-uniform-deceleration movement mode, The robot in motionmachinery to achieve the best State, robot stability, this article proposes a linearalgorithm to increase or decrease speed, which can make the robot a smoothacceleration and progressive approach.(3)lastly verify the tablet’s packaging about the improved ddp-250/130table seriesof aluminum-plastic blister package machine. the production in fact indicated that it’seasily to detect and classify tablets by using image real-time processing detectivetechnology. Tablets disposal system can quickly and exactly deal with thedisqualificatiuon pills in tablet plate. via production proved that this system’s has a90%rate of correct detection on disqualification tablet such as lack of grain、defect-tablets(unfilled tablet、macule、lobe、pills stick together),meanwhile,it canautomatic reject and feed supplement,so as to content the enterprise’s demands.
