With the rapid development of communication technology, the means ofcommunication with the device constantly change. Hands-free voice communicationsystem is more and more widely used, such as car telephone, telephone conferencesystem, intercom system. In hands-free communication system, the speaker voicefeedback led to acoustic echo to the microphone, it will affect the clarity of speech.The user often uses the speech quality as a standard to assess the overall quality of thevoice communication system, so people want to acoustic echo cancel to improve thequality of voice communications.Task of this paper is to research and implementation of acoustic echocancellation algorithm. Through the analysis of the causes of the acoustic echo studythe basic principle of acoustic echo cancellation algorithm, then engaged in a detailedstudy in several important algorithms for acoustic echo cancellation, the final designof a complete acoustic echo cancellation algorithms and simulation experiments.This paper firstly introduces several commonly used adaptive filteringalgorithms.From the convergence rate, the complexity of the algorithm andsteady-state offset compared several algorithms. Under weigh a variety of factors,conducted for the NLMS algorithm and PNLMS algorithms improve fusion andeventually raised UPNLMS algorithm. Experimental results show that, comparedwith the existing adaptive filtering algorithms, UPNLMS algorithm to improve theperformance of the echo cancellation. Common Double-talk Detector (DTD)algorithms are based on single threshold, the proposed DTD algorithm based ondouble threshold. In addition, a simple nonlinear residual echo processing module,the room reverberation model was established. Under the model, using Matlabsimulation software for acoustic echo cancellation algorithm simulation. Theexperimental results show that the acoustic echo cancellation algorithm can achievegood echo cancellation function. Finally, this paper also research of the practicalapplication of acoustic echo cancellation algorithm.
