Recently, shipborne HF surface-wave Radar takes more and more important placein the ocean observing field for its flexibility. But the ionospheric clutter occurs as aresult of non-ideality of antenna spanning on the flat roof, resulting in part ofwaves ‘leakage, this kind of inonspheric clutter interference restrict the shipborneHF surface-wave Radar detective performance seriously. So for the sake ofrestraining the inonspheric clutter effectively, we should really analyze theionospheric clutter characteristic more deeply.Base on this purpose,the article mainly comprise hereinafter content:First of all, the article will summarize the researching actualities about theshipborne HF surface-wave Radar and ionosphere at home and abroad.Secondly, the article will give elaborate introduce to the ionopheric basic physicalmechanism. The content of this part will involved ionospheric configuration、growing reason and complex changing identities, which will make sure everybodycan have all-sided acquaintanceship on basic physical knowledge of ionosphere.Simultaneity, by dint of R-D power resemble spectrum of ionospheric clutter, wecan find out the taking-up instance of ionospheric clutter on the dimension of rangeand doppler. Besides that, the radar emission frequency will be taken into account too, we’ll investigatethe influence which had happened on the ionospheric characteristic, so we hope thatthis work will provide a new thought for the radar frequency surveillance and themethod on ionospheric clutter surpressing.At last, we’ll compare severalsurpressing methods with practical data.
