The Topic Detection Oriented Internet Forums And Attention Trend Forecasting

With the development of the internet, information spreading and internet speech become easier and free which results in more and more people expressing their viewpoint on the internet forum. The biggest problem to a forum administer to is how to effectively transform the mass, unordered, scattered forum information to useful and valuable information which can be used to mining hot issues and track trend and help managers making decisions. This paper focuses on topic developing trend forecasting based on traditional news topic detection&tracking theory and method.In this paper we describe a topic by a vector with each element indicates a character of the topic. Many vectors compose the vector set. Firstly get topic clusters by Cluster Analysis on the vector set and filtering. Secondly construct the Markov Chains forecasting model for the topic developing trend based on analysis on history data of topic clusters. Thirdly find out key influencing factors that determine topic cluster developing trend and describe the topic cluster state with these factors.
