Magnetic detection has a widespread use in the national defense construction,scientific research, industrial production and daily life, etc. In numerous magneticdetection technique, it is an important method to apply fluxgate on the low-intensitymagnetic field detection. Such method has two advantages. The first one is that it hasenough sensitivity to detect the tiny magnetic field with high resolution; Another one isthat its detection scheme is enough simple with low power consumption, and it is so tinythat it can be run in the key equipment of satellite or missile. The key factor affecting theprecision of fluxgate sensor is the noise from the environment, the sensor itself and thefollowing detection circuit. The minute change will be covered by the noise without beingdetected as the magnetic field under test changing little. It is a key problem to deal withthe noise problem perfectly and realize such technique easily in the application of fluxgatesensor detection.In this paper, the papers on fluxgate sensor all over the world is studied and its statusof development and research achievement is reviewed. On the basis of that, the fluxgatetheory model based on noise drive with the application of stochastic resonance, and it issimulated with the application of MATLAB software. And then, the theory model offluxgate sensor array is researched to improve the precise of fluxgate sensor, aiming at theproblem on the research of single fluxgate sensor and having a additional remarks for theresearch. At last, the test equipment for detecting external magnetic field by fluxgatesensor is designed and researched with computer as the core, through making a simplefluxgate sensor. It is concluded that the sensor dynamic range can achieveĀ±100uT and thesensor sensitivity reach0.02019s/uT. As a result, the difficulty of improving the precise ofthe magnetic field detection by fluxgate sensor with the effect of noise is resolved, and aninnovative method on fluxgate sensor detection is proposed.
