In road remote sensing image feature information extraction process, we need togive special consideration to the problem of image filtering, which is very susceptible tovarious noise sources in the process of acquisition and transmission of remote sensingimages, and the presence of noise will bring a great deal of error in reading and imagefeature extraction, so it is important for the remote sensing image noise filtering methodto study.The morphological filter is a nonlinear filter designed which is based onmathematical morphology, by setting an on structural elements of the transformation tolocally modify the geometric characteristics of the image,it can realize noisesuppression, edge detection tasks, and is suitable for extracting or compressing theimage object or structure. Therefore, morphological filtering has become an importantresearch direction for remote sensing image filtering and road feature informationextraction.In this paper,we use the multi-directional and multi-scale structure elements set ofsequences, combining with alternating sequential morphological filtering combinations,and get a new alternating sequential morphological filters, not only is it able to extractroad information, but also to achieve better noise suppression effect. However, due tothe structural elements of the sequence set is constructed,it will lead to the increasing ofcomputing time complexity of alternating sequential morphological filter, this paperfurther introduces graphical form operator,and combines with alternating sequentialcombination,so we can construct a so-called alternate sequential pattern of Morphologi-cal filters. Image with many sub-graph sequence will ensure that the alternatingsequential pattern of morphological filters can realize the image filtered, and use differ-ent combinations of graphical operator to extract road skeleton, Graphical form operatoronly involves Graph midpoint and the judgment of the connection of the edge, withoutintroducing structural elements, so it further improves the speed of operation of agraphical form Operators.
