With the advances of science and technology,automation have becomeincreasingly demanding,the original production line can not meet the needs ofthe current high degree of automation.reduce labor intensity and to ensureproduction reliability,safety,reduce production costs,reduce environmentalpollution,improve product quality and economic benefits is the survival ofenterprises must face major problems,Programmable Logic Controller is thecombination of automation technology,computer science technology andcommunication technology. and it has many strongpoint such as its highperformance, low cost and high reliability in the industry environment.Programmable Logic Controller, which provides reliability control applicationfor varied automatically controller equipments,have been widely applied inindustrial control field for a long time.This thesis is based on the automation of the production line project inSulzer,the original production line have low degree of automation.the wholeproduction line depends on artificial too much,therefore the purpose ofdesign the automatic control system is raise the automation degree ofproduction line in the case of not changing the existing process, carry out theautomation operation of incise platform and assemble platform;using machinevision to replace artificial visual to check product quality,in order to reducethe cost of manpower, reduce human error rate, improve the quality ofproducts.The automation production line control system uses PLC, servo drive,inverter, PC,visual detection and other industrial equipment。 using theProgrammable Logic Controller(PLC) for scene data collection andintelligent control, not only improves the control precision of signal, and in the scene may modify the program, easy to repair;the servo system can be accurately positioned mechanical movement position, improve the accuracy of machine transmission;converter can change the motor running frequency, to realize the automatic control;PC can display and modify various parameters, simplified the field operation; machine vision system has the advantage of high speed, high precision, non-contact and other advantages, applied to the sheet detection, can effectively overcome the deficiency of artificial detection, field test shows that the new system can improve the production efficiency and production automation.
