With the constant progress of mobile technology,the demand of the mobilesubscribers worldwide has increased for Mobile Internet. The Long Term Evolution(LTE) of the UMTS technical standards developed by the3GPP organization,hasgradually applied in the network communication. The mobile manufacturers andresearch institutions have highly concerned about the key technology researches of theLTE. Therefore, the study for the LTE has a very important significance. This thesisresearch on Physical Uplink Shared Channel Algorithm and DSP implementation ofthe LTE uplink in depth.Firstly, transmission characteristics of the wireless channel are introduced and thecommon channel models of the LTE system are discussed in this thesis. Then referenceto the LTE R8standard protocols, the basic principles and the key technologies of theLTE uplink physical layer are researched and analyzed. The baseband signal of thegeneration process of the LTE PUSCH and mixed-radix FFT algorithm are discussed indetail.Secondly, the generate of the demodulation reference signal and the choice of thepilot design for the LTE PUSCH are analyzed.Then the time-domain channelestimation algorithm,the Least Squares channel estimation algorithm, the MinimumMean Square Error channel estimation algorithm, and the based on Singular ValueDecomposition transform channel estimation algorithm are introduced. In this paper,three kinds of Channel estimation algorithms which are LS、 LMMSE and SVD, arerespectively simulated in different conditions. The three kinds of algorithms of theMSE (Mean Square Error) and BER (Bit Error Rate) are analyzed and compared,concluding the corresponding results that the performance of the LS is the worst, theperformance of the LMMSE is the best. But according to the results of simulation andhardware implementation requirements,finally the LS channel estimation algorithm isselected for hardware implementation of the algorithm.Finally, from the perspective of DSP implementation, hardware platform,DSPdevelopment environment and the implementation process of each module for the LTEPUSCH are introduced. And for the whole test process, the signal is captured andanalyzed.The captured signal both in time and frequency domain are similar with the expected signal,and the expected target of the LTE PUSCH for implementation isachieved.
