In today’s software industry, along with the development of softwaredevelopment tools, software development has make big improvements in technology,wireless LAN technology has been rapidly developing, mainly used in the indoorenvironment. From small to large multi-storey shopping mall and office buildingcompanies are using it to access the network, there are many public places usingWi-Fi for accurate indoor positioning.This subject detailed describes a802.11-basedwireless network positioning system, which is based in Wi-Fi. It is using the newlydeveloped two different methods for outdoor and indoor positioning, and to meet upwith two ways.The subject comes from Neusoft Group (Dalian) Co., Ltd.,which is toundertake the depth of customization based on Google Android platform developedNeusoft Embedded Division ’s second-generation tablet PC project. Wi-Fi locationservice is just one small part of the products. The product build in line with the802.1X standard protocol modules, in line with the relevant standards GoogleAndroid. Neusoft embedded Division develop Wi-Fi application of the Tablet PCdirection on this hardware and software platform.The location system is composed of a client of mobile device, a server forlocation and AP access terminal. The system can use the logical and physicaladdresses to position in the complex indoor or outdoor environment, and can alsopreviously train fingerprint information signal acquisition and construct the signalfingerprint characteristic diagram, then generates a signal fingerprint database,finally add the nearest neighbor matching algorithm or trilateral positioning methodfor positioning data for calculation and processing. I need to design and implementserver-side programs and AP access points and mobile client program and integratethem to become a whole.Mobile client program is developing on the Androidplatform, and describe the implementation process of its initial position andsecondary positioning and call the Geocoder Google Map API to parse theinformation on the address code and display positioning result; Not only scan APand Wi-Fi hotspot functionality at the AP side, but also add a channel to achievedata security sensitive data security to protect users’ personal privacy issues. Serveruses I/O multiplexing and multi-process modeling, to increase the load capacity ofthe system to improve server performance, improve stability of the program and ensure the positioning accuracy of the results.
