A Synchronization technology based on Weighted Fractional FourierTransform(WFRFT) was proposed for resolving the conflict between limitedsepectrum resources and the rapidly growing service needs. WFRFT has showngood performance and wide prospect in communication services as an antiinterference and intercept high speed communicaiton technique. Based on traditionalsynchronization technologies, we use this novel time and frequency analyzing toolWFRFT to complete the waveform design, time and frequency annalazing and signalprocessing in communication system. We designed the synchrozation algorithmbased on maximum likelihood and trainning symbol technique for the WFRFTcommunication system. We build mathmatical model, complete theory analysis andestablished numertical analysis. The results shows that maximum likelihoodsynchorization algorithm has good performance in AWGN channel, the time MSEcan reach10-1under20dB, while its performace is not satisfying in rayleigh channel.The improved trainning symbol algotithm has better performance in both AWGNand rayleigh channel. Besides, the tainning symbol algorithm can obtain betterperformance in WFRFT system than in OFDM because WFRFT communicationsystem is a hybrid carrier system.
