As one of the most effective method, Wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) technol-ogy has a wide range for optical fiber sensing and communication because it can make aparticular wavelength separated from the original channel. Isolated the traditional WDMsystem only in use the difference about wavelength, has affected the further application of thistechnique. Based on this, this paper designs a new type of wavelength division multiplexingsystem, primarily, on the basis of the principle of fiber bragg grating coupler and erbiumdoped fiber amplifier and a series of optical devices. System structure and the theory can beused for multiple wavelengths in the WDM system, combining time-division multiplexingmethod, in does not affect the outcome of traditional reuse at the same time, the minimumtime interval of0.7ns, meet the requirements of the larger. The Main contents are below:(1) Based on Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) principle, determine the relativeposition of grating and circulator, and circulator each arm length is associated with eachwavelength phase, encapsulated in the coupler, the MZI can solve the problem of phase, donethrough fixed length L of four wavelength phase recovery. The system design used geomet-rical optics, so eliminate various dispersion time accuracy is the key, based on the theorymodel of fiber bragg grating (FBG) is studied, and the application of fiber bragg gratingcoupled mode theory analysis of spectral characteristics, analyzes the principles of chirp fibergrating (FCB), the basis of application of chirp grating dispersion compensation.(2) Using the principle of isolator and circulator and the internal structure14points ofthe design is based on fiber grating, and its application in a new type of wavelength divisionmultiplexing system, make the WDM system more concise, more important is the partialwave device is the core of the complete part time division multiplexing devices.14points ofoutput by using the OptiSystem simulation software, the result conform to the requirements ofthe system, without too much interference between waveform, and the power of a singlewavelength through the output erbium-doped fiber amplifier after supplement, relative inputwithout loss.(3) There is OptiSystem software design interference waves with of all-optical wavele-ngth converter, and some meaningful results are obtained through simulation: after the inter-fereence wave on all-optical wavelength conversion wavelength value has no effect, just theclient and weaken the interference of pumping light transform optical power output, but thereis interference for the client and the idle light produced by light scattering signal power.(4) Using dispersion compensation WDM to replace uniform fiber grating, or twograting alternate use of this system, and then the theoretical derivation and numerical simulation, get the4channel WDM model, and applied to the bandwidth reduction technolo-gy to do optimization.
