In recent years, the development of the Internet of things has been promoting the application of RFID technology. At the same time, that also brought more serious challenge to the RFID technology. Antenna in the RFID system is the only tool for energy transferring and information transmission, and it is also the indispensable part in the RFID system. So the design of RFID antenna is becoming the most popular research over big enterprises and universities. The high frequency13.56MHz is not affected by radio frequency control, and used commonly throughout the world. Besides, with its inherent frequency characteristics, namely the high frequency technology owns strong anti-interference ability to environmental noise and electromagnetic interference (EMI), which can penetrate non-metallic objects and has more advantages in detecting fruit, liquid medicine and other objects containing high moisture than other frequency. Therefor, the RFID systems working on13.56MHz are widely used in all walks of life. However, according to the different application and the specific installation environment, such as high density13.56MHz RFID read-write device installation area, antenna is required to read and write devices with smaller size, higher read-write distance. This thesis is mainly referring to read-write13.56MHz RFID antenna’s design, including summarizing the general designing method, and studying how to minish the size of antenna while having high recognition distance. It’s proposing that the single-ended nested symmetrical structure, and the structure of the cascading series inductance coil are able to reducing the peripheral size of antenna. It’s also putting forward to adding extra ring for compensation, which improved the quality of the antenna coil factor obviously. There is a new method to increase the recognition distance of RFID system which is adding trunk circles between RFID reading and writing device. For those optimization methods, this thesis has given theory proved and got a lot of simulation results by using the3D electromagnetic simulation software, which verified the feasibility of those optimized scheme further.
