In recent years, with the continuous development of the meteorological, computer network has become the basic pillar of the meteorological network. In the practical work, the number of potential vulnerabilities in software is also showing a rising trend, computer network security issues are facing with serious problems. Faced with this reality, applying vulnerability discovering analysis techniques to meteorological network security system, developing vulnerability discovering system has a very important significance to establish a complete, stability, protection meteorological network security system.This paper discussed the vulnerability discovering analysis and utilization techniques; proposed one method of static analysis combined with the dynamic analysis of vulnerability discovering analysis; proposed one program of how to built a set of completed, stability, guaranteed meteorological network system and led vulnerability discovering analysis techniques into meteorological network security system; explained how to build a vulnerability discovering analysis tool to assist the discovering and analysis of vulnerability; designed and realized the vulnerability discovering analysis tool-VulAs under the Windows platform.The main work of the paper concludes the following:(1) Analyzed the principle and classification of buffer overflow. Elaborate vulnerability discovering analysis and utilization techniques, and the principle of some famous tools, analyzed the related technologies with tadvantages and disadvantages of the corresponding software tools.(2) Based on the disadvantages of traditional vulnerability discovering analysis and advantages and disadvantages of static and dynamic analysis methods, proposed one method of static analysis combined with dynamic analysis of vulnerability discovering analysis method and presented a complete vulnerability discovering analysis process, verified the availability and effectiveness of the method by actual Microsoft Office vulnerability.(3) Studied the security status and the impact of root causes of the meteorological network security. Based on investigating the around meteorological network security system architecture, then built a set of complete, stability, guaranteed meteorological network system from the technical aspects as well as management level. Led vulnerability discovering analysis techniques into meteorological network security system to solve the problem caused by buffer overflow vulnerability.And combined with other techniques for linkaged response to ensure the security and stability of the meteorological network security system.(4) On the basis of the theory and technology, designed and realized vulnerability discovering analysis tool-VulAs to assist the discovering and analysis of vulnerability. There are detailed introduction and description for each module from the principle of the framework, as well as module design and implementation. According to the experimental results, verified the availability and effectiveness of using VulAs to assist the discovering and analysis of vulnerability in meteorological network security system.
