Image fusion and display is a modern high and new technology which integratedwith multi-discipline and widely used in Medical, Oil, seismic, satellite remote sensingand other fields. Fusion image algorithm can make the fusion image with higherreliability, better intelligibility than the original images, and easy to distinguish. Thisthesis committed to two or more than two kinds of seismic attributes data fusion, thendisplay the fusion data. The fusion image can be as part of the geological interpretationto provide the basis for the pre-positioning of drilling for oil and gas exploration.This thesis first reviews the traditional image fusion technology developments athome and abroad, and makes systematic classification of various image fusiontechnologies. Based on the concept of image fusion, image fusion method and actualdata applications, deep studied the problems of how image fusion technology applied inthree-dimensional seismic image, and developed a set of image fusion method whichappropriate for the actual seismic data processing. Specific work as follows:1. For the fusion and display problems of a number of two-dimensional seismicimages, we proposed two-dimensional wavelet transform and two-dimensional curvelettransform based multi-resolution seismic image data fusion algorithm in this thesis.Decomposition the seismic image data in multi-scale and multi-direction at first; Thenfusion the frequency of each decomposition using fusion operator; finally get the fusionimage with the inverse transform. Since it is based on data level fusion, this algorithmcan better extract and prominent the character of seismic image than traditional fusionalgorithm, and get more fined image than traditional fusion algorithm.2. For the fusion problem of a number of3D seismic images, this paper proposed3D wavelet transform and3D curvelet transform based multi-resolution3D seismicimage data fusion algorithm in this thesis. Decomposition the3D seismic image data inmulti-scale at first; Then using different fusion operator in low frequency and highfrequency respectively; finally, get the3D fusion image after reconstruction. Becausethe factors in the time direction to be more considered in3D seismic image fusioncompared to the2D seismic image fusion algorithm, so that the seismic fusion image can be better reflect the correlation of geological formation in seismic interpretation.The proposed algorithms are applied to seismic image fusion of the Dutch NorthSea F3work area and domestic of JG work area. From the fusion effect of actual workarea, both the overall profile and detail feature of fusion image has greatly improvedthan traditional seismic image fusion algorithms.
