With the development needs of military, communications, satellite applications tohigh-power broadband millimeter-wave and sub millimeter of small radiation sources.The traveling wave tube which adopting folded waveguide slow-wave line gains muchattention in recently years.But for traditional traveling wave tube with foldedwaveguide,its round beam channel limit the current density, so the out power is alsolimited The folding rectangular groove waveguide slow-wave structure which combingthe advantages of groove waveguide and folded waveguide,in which the semi-openstructure allows the sheet electron beam get through,and size is bigger than the one ofthe rectangular waveguide under the same frequency, the out power is improved,so itis a potential new type of millimeter-wave and sub millimeter traveling wave tubeslow-wave structure.People have started a more detailed study of the folding rectangular groovewaveguide traveling wave tube, on that basis, this theory studied the high frequencycharacteristics theory of folded groove waveguide, analysis the folded groovewaveguide slow-wave structure with different groove shape, compared the influence ofthe groove shape on traveling wave tube and beam-wave interaction analog designhigh frequency feature of wave band folded trapezoidal groove waveguide travelingwave tube. Besides, for improving iteraction impedam, further increase the iteractionefficiency this thesis focus on the disserting the electromagnetic properties of the doubleridge loaded folding groove waveguide slow-wave structure, simulating the beam-waveiteraction characteristics of ridge-loaded folded groove waveguide traveling wave tube,doing analysis and calculation on the high frequency feature of double ridge loadedfolding groove waveguide slow-wave, studying the beam-wave iteraction characteristicsof double ridge loaded folding groove waveguide traveling wave tube. Compared withthe same size folded groove guide, Both methods improve the iteraction impedam,and output power.
