Recent years, Internet has been very mature, with Wi-Fi and the rapid developmentof mobile devices, streaming media has occupied the dominant position of theday-to-day network applications, IPTV, and video conferencing business of networktraffic has become an Internet main flow. This led to evaluation of the quality of thestreaming media has been valued by more and more researchers.This essay studies the real-time streaming media, such as video conferencing,real-time video quality evaluation methods of business. The real-time streaming ismainly divided into the time impairments and airspace impairments. Time impairmentsmainly caused by real-time streaming transmission delay and jitter in the network.Airspace impairments mainly refers to the damage of the image, generally by the codec,and by the packet loss. The current encoding methods, since the H.264coding makeslittle packet to be used for transferring large amounts of data content, therefore used inmany video service providers. This essay analysis and evaluation of the quality ofH.264-encoded video business.This essay analysis from the following aspects of the video quality: the importanceof the different frames in H.264coding are different, the importance is different with thedifferent macro blocks sizes and motion vectors for an image, finally with the analysisof video time impairment by network delay, we get the corresponding video qualityassessment algorithm., and validate it by the results of the subjective evaluation.Compared to other methods, we start from the point of network impairments,connect the network transmission factors of instability and H.264encoded video quality,provide a mapping model. The essay use a semi reference objective video qualityevaluation method, without contrast with the original video sequence. Its inputparameters can be directly obtained from the video stream, without complicatedcalculation, and is suitable for real-time video quality evaluation.
