Due to the rapid development of communication technology, the short-rangewireless communication technology has been greatly paid more attention to. With theadvantages of convenient wirless access and high quality of communicating and so on,short-range wireless communications technology has been widely used in various areasof peple’s work and life. Most of the existing wireless communication terminals havethe problems of complicated implemention and high cost. Therefore, it’s very practicaland applicable to design and develop a new wireless communication terminal based onthe wireless system-on-chipwith low cost, low power consumption, high reliability andpracticability.After adequately considered all the requirements of components, characters andfunctions of wireless communication terminal, the thesis has designed an applicablewireless voice communication terminal based on wireless system–on-chip. By adoptingthe thought of modularization design, the thesis finally performs the whole schemedesigning of the wireless voice terminal and its hardware and software systems:Compared the wireless communication technology with the wirelesssystem-on-chip, the thesis has accomplished the tasks of transmitting and receiving thewireless digital signal. Based on the analysis of the embedded technology, it hascompleted the process of implanting and debugging of the μC/OS-II system,and themodule designing for frequency hopping and address transformation.By analyzing thevoice coding technologies, it adopted pulse coding modulation to process audio signal;by adopting the theory of pulse width modulation, it has implemented D/A conversionand implement demodulation of audio signal based on audio output circuit. Meanwhile,this thesis has designed voice communication protocol and implement the tasks of audioinput, audio data sending and receiving, and audio output.At last, it has tested the efficiency of the implemented embedded wireless voiceterminal with its communication range and error frame ratio, voice quality, frequencyhopping and address translation.It turns out that the implemented embedded wireless voice terminal has the advantages of low cost, low power consumption and highreliability,which has a great value and bright future to be widely used.
