With the progress of society and the continuous development of science andtechnology, the operation environment of electronic equipment becomes increasinglycomplex. Complex electromagnetic environment leads to performance degradation ofelectronic equipment. So how to ensure a variety of electronic devices work properly ina complex electromagnetic environment becomes a key problem.This paper is based on the research of the vehicle electromagnetic compatibility.The radiation pattern and coupling of the vehicle-mounted communication antenna onthe finite conductive plane are studied. The rule that the antenna pattern related to theplane dimensions and materials, the antenna coupling related to the plane dimensionsand the scattering body is discussed. And then the radiation pattern and coupling of thevehicle communication antenna on a vehicle body model are studied and obtain a bestlayout model. Then, EMC simulation analysis of complex model of a vehicle is madeand the surface current distribution on the vehicle body in the high field strengthirradiation is studied. The conclusion in this paper has a guiding role on the study ofvehicle electromagnetic compatibility.
