With the development of wireless communication, the demand for spectrumresource is increasing. The frequency range is wide in millimeter wave and terahertzband, and the bandwidth is more than10THz. That is why more and more attention hadbeen paid to the research in this region. As an important constituent of communication,millimeter wave and terahertz antenna also get an opprtunity to develop rapidly.Aperture antenna is commonly used in millimeter wave and terahertz with thebasic form of Horn antenna, reflector antenna and lens antenna. Horn antenna oftenused as the feeding of reflector antenna, with the low VSWR and wide bandwith. thesingle reflector antenna, cassegrain antenna and offset feed reflector antenna areincludes in reflector antenna which is characterized by high gain, narrow beam and lowsidelobes.The design of the antenna radiatingstructure and the antenna interation are towimportant aspects of antenna design. The key element ofrealizing the design ofintegrated antenna is the design of transition betweencommonly used transmissionstructures, such as waveguide to microstrip linetransition, coplanar waveguide tomicrostrip line transition. The main challenge in realizing such a transition is to meetthe technical specification (low insertion loss, high bandwidth) and at the same time toallow for cost-effective packing procedures and respective manufacturing tolerances.Horn antenna and reflector antenna were designed and optimized in this article.The horn antenna includespyramid horn antenna and conical horn antenna, while thereflector antenna includesparabolicantenna and cassegrain antenna. This conduces toinsight the radiation characteristic of antenna worked at microstrip wave andterahertz.Moreover waveguide to microstrip transition, both the in-line mode andvertical mode, was designed, and an integrated antenna was finished.
