In radio and television industry, the network connecting all of television station andhigh-definition digital system has gradually become popular. The inner productionworkflow, including studio recording,broadcast content acquisition, post-editing,document processing, programming in chief editor’s office, data storage and mediaproduction management, and many other aspects of the file system need outstandcapability of the back-end storage hardware and storage software, such as high stability,high security, high bandwidth and seamless massive space expansion.In this thesis, the general media shared file system is designed for the broadcastingindustry. The optimization in architecture and specific details of the file system ispresented. In the paper the technical aspects of the shared file system are studied, andthe specific implementation details are shown. The media file system architecture, thedisk structure of metadata, metadata log, directory metadata division multiple MDS(metadata server), the MDS metadata consistency, metadata snapshot implementationsbandwidth control strategy, as well as targeted data cache optimization solutions,network optimization solutions are discussed in this thesis.In this paper, metadata double-log design and a two-inode data indexing scheme tomeet the high reliability requirements of television data. Distributed clustered filesystem metadata catalog division, the design level directory HASH program to solve themetadata catalog distribution, catalog distribution principle is to try not to generatedistributed operating relationship, in order to improve the scalability of metadata. Paxosalgorithm for distributed lock, to solve the problem of the consistency of the data in thecluster. The study television software to read and write data block features optimize diskdata blocks written, design metadata and data caches to achieve high-performance dataaccess. Design of the private network protocol to improve the data transmission networkbandwidth. The design global bandwidth control strategy to enable effective use ofstorage bandwidth resources of each client.Through the optimal design of the file system architecture and the details of eachmodule to meet the stringent requirements of the television to the file system.
